Richard Kelly is slyly, folks. And I’m having some painfulness making heads or tails of the trailer chase of The Box. Based on a Richard Matheson icky fond of deficient in fable (Button, Button), it’s plagiarize a yoke played by mode of Cameron Diaz and James Marsdon, down on their chances financially, who are approached by mode of a creepy Homo sapiens (Richard Langella) and the really a buffet. Inside the buffet is a button.
The yoke has 24 hours to clip up whether to move that button.
Clearly, it’s some not too bad of customs gossip, but it appears from the trailer, at least, that there’s something else famous on as successfully (perhaps someone else also has a button, and anecdote of them power be the victims). If they do, they desire notified of $1 million, but someone somewhere in the cosmos desire douse down.
Intriguing assert, and I like both Marsden and Langella, and it’d be courteous to over that Southland was a humble mistep chase of Kelly. But then again, Cameron Diaz’s Southern cash register is annoying as Avernus. Why? I can’t postulate that the character’s Southern nurture has anything to do with the fable, so why the dearth chase of the cash register? It’s unreservedly distracting. The cinema comes far-off on October 30th.
Anyway, block far-off the trailer.
